4 Special Practices Friday for Muslim

Moslimdaily | For seven days a week there is a very special day in Islam. It is Friday, which is so glorified because it has many blessings from morning until late evening.

In fact, it is mentioned in the hadith if Friday is more glorious in the side of Allah SWT than Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. Then, God will appear every Friday to the people who enter Paradise. Today there are many deeds that can bring reward.

But unfortunately, it often passes and passes away. Especially if it is not for the affairs of the world that always make forget. Though this practice is quite easy but has many virtues. What are these practices? Here’s the review

1. Read Surah As Sajdah and Surah Al Insan at Dawn Prayer

The first special practice that is often missed is to read Surat As Sajdah and Surat Al Insan at dawn prayer after Al-Fatihah.

This practice is even sunnah by the Prophet Muhammad SAW and must be read in full on the first rakaat, not some of the verses. Similarly, in the second rakaat, read the letter of Al-Insan in full, not just some of the verses.

As found in the hadeeth of Abu Hurayrah, he said,

“The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to recite at the Shubuh prayer on Friday “Alam Tanzil …” (surah As Sajdah) in the first raka’at and “Hal ataa ‘alal insaani hiinum minad dahri lam yakun syai-am madzkuro” (surah Al Insan) on the second raka’at.” (HR. Muslim No. 880)

The wisdom of reading both letters is because of the content of the meaning contained in it.

And we shall say, “This is the Day of Resurrection, and the last abode of the Hereafter.”

2. Multiplying blessings to the Prophet Muhammad SAW

Although it is known that many pahalan by multiplying shalawat on Friday, but many of us just ignore it.

In fact, Allah SWT alone took care also for His Prophet. But we easily neglect to deliver it on such a special day.

“Multiply my blessings on every Friday. Because the blessings of my people will be shown to me on Friday. Whoever has a lot of care for me, he will be the closest to me on the Day of Resurrection.” (HR. Baihaqi)

Only The Prophet Muhammad SAW can give his intercession later on the Day of Resurrection. The way to get it is to multiply the shalawat.

And on this special Friday, let’s multiply the blessings, because our blessings on this day will be immediately received by the Prophet.

3. Reading Surah Al Kahfi

Reading al-Kahfi is also a practice that is often missed by Muslims. Some do not hapal, some do not know, some do not want to know.

Though there are many virtues when you can read this letter every Friday. From Abu Sa’id al-Khudri, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

“Whoever reads al-Kahfi on Friday will be illuminated by the light between the two Fridays” HR. judge

4. Pray to Asr and before Magrib

On Fridays, there are practices that are so dear if missed. It is a prayer activity that becomes a form of worship to God. On Fridays, there is a special time that becomes a mustajab time to pray.

On Friday there is a time, where if there is a Muslim servant who prays to Allah to coincide with that time, Allah will give what he asked. It was a long time. (HR. Ahmad 7631 and judged saheeh Syuaib al-Arnauth).
