Jinn Created From The Fire

In Surah Al-Hijr Verse 27 it is explained that jinn were created before the creation of the Prophet Adam. jinn were created from very hot fires, they were given burdens and responsibilities by God just as humans were given burdens and responsibilities.

وَالْجَاۤنَّ خَلَقْنٰهُ مِنْ قَبْلُ مِنْ نَّارِ السَّمُوْمِ

As for the jinn, We created them earlier from smokeless fire. (Al-Hijr: 27)

this verse explains that Allah Almighty explained He had created a genie from a very hot fire before creating Adam. Of the nature of this fire, only God knows.

In accordance with the hadith that the character of man varies according to the state of the land that forms him, then this can be used as a postulate that the character of the jinn corresponds to the character of the origin of the incident. Just as fire is hot, so is the character of the genie.

The fire can suddenly ferment into a large, then suddenly shrinkage and small one. Similarly, jinn, like to rush, quickly become angry, like to play tricks and hurt people, and sometimes submit and obey God, but immediately disobey and disobey God.

While man is in accordance with the nature of his genesis, such as being patient, likes to cultivate, develop, nurture and seek something good, likes to heed commands, has a submissive and obedient nature, although sometimes he is disobedient to God for submitting and following his passions.

In the Hadith Qudsi mentioned the origin of the occurrence of angels, jinn and humans based on the history of Aisyah.

Aisyah said, Allah Almighty said, “I have created angels from light, and I have created jinn from the flames and have created Adam as explained to you.” (History of Ahmad and Muslims from ‘Aisyah)

Jinns belong to the creatures of God. Like other creatures of God, some of the jinns are obedient to God and some are disobedient.

As Allah Almighty said. “Among us are those who are righteous and those who are less so. We have been of different factions.” (Al-Jin: 11)

The genie is given burdens and responsibilities by God, just as man is given burdens and responsibilities, he thrives and grows. It’s just that humans can’t see it, while jinns can see humans. Therefore, some jinns are submissive to God, and some are as disobedient as Satan.

Allah Almighty said, And among us are those who have submitted ˹to Allah˺ and those who are deviant. So ˹as for˺ those who submitted, it is they who have attained Right Guidance.” (Al-Jin: 14)

According to Ibn ‘Abbas, what is meant by jan (jinn) in this verse is the father of all jinn, just as Adam is the father of all men. Satan is the father of all demons.

Those jinn also eat, drink, live, and die like humans. Allah Almighty said, “O children of Adam! Do not let Satan deceive you as he tempted your parents out of Paradise and caused their cover to be removed in order to expose their nakedness. Surely he and his soldiers watch you from where you cannot see them. We have made the devils allies of those who disbelieve.” (Al-A’raf: 27)

Why did The Jinn(Genie) Create From The Fire ?

The question is simple, many wonder if one of the two elements created from the same element can torture the other element? If demons and hells are both made of fire, many answers that demons will not be in pain burned in the fires of hell.

Let’s use logic with a little confidence in the power of God. Analogous to a human element that is said to be made of earthen essence. Do we resemble soil or can a tree be planted and grow in our bodies?

Of course the answer is no. The universe and the power of God have transformed the essence of the soil into a very different human body. Can the soil be a tool of torment for us when it is made of the same element ? the answer is yes. Please try to bury someone in the ground alive. Would be a fatal cruel torture, right?

Then it is no different from demons. Our very limited knowledge of nature may not be able to know the true form of this creature that is said to be made of this element of fire.

What we know is that demons or demons can resemble anything, their physiques are physically shrewd and cannot be defined. If you believe, God’s power can make satan’s physique tormented and burned in a hell filled with fire.

Logically put, perhaps the kind of fire that exists in hell is much stronger in nature than the demons themselves. Exactly the analogy of the land with man. It can explain how satan was tortured in hell when he was created from fire.

There are many explanations of the torment of hellfire and the various kinds of creepy tortures that will be given to satan and his followers in hell in various verses in the scriptures.

If we believe in religious teachings, there are certainly many ways God derives his adzab to whom He wills, with HIS power to realize anything that is impossible within the limitations of human reason.

There is no way we can measure everything about which we can only reflect on the laws of the world, for no human being knows what the law of the hereafter will look like in due course.
